tear.

August 15, 2014

standing where the world ends, a tear waits
even dry winds cannot dry this pain
that stands the test of time, of life
a soul so gripped in itself
the drop can neither be left to fall
nor drunk
only hope can preserve this sphere of self
in the darkness of cosmic unconscious
and while those feet scorch in heat
who knows where this journey might end.

The miracle arrived
without display. He held a book, and as he read
he found the very thing he’d sought. Just that.

Sometimes out of the blue
An insight comes into you
And tonight my mind while
It was lost into time
Drinking tea
And sipping thoughts
Slowly weaving a web
I could clearly see
For the very first time
Through gaps of my mind’s creation
The causes behind my every pain
And I saw why it was that
I hated and regretted things
And how it is that I can actually
Make amends and bring about change.
